Located in the beautiful undulating hills of Gumeracha, Mt Bera Winery was acquired after many years of neglect, with plans to undertake a complete restoration. Surrounded by hectares of vineyards, the restaurant + cellar door sits proudly atop the estate overlooking views that stretch as far as the eye can see.

After spending years focusing on the vines, the new owners are now ready to breathe new life into the restaurant, cellar door and on-site cottage accommodation dating back to the 1880s. The underground cellar redesign will consist of a two-storey venue comprising of a lower-level private dining space and upper-level tasting room. The design features signature brick arches, open cut rock face, steel, glass and locally milled timbers, embracing robust, tactile and authentic materials. New furniture and interior design enhancements will complete the restaurant and tasting bar, while the cottage accommodation will undergo a full renovation.
